Runners SOCKS for 2024
All runners will receive a pair of Runner Socks that will be Colorful, Logo'd and something you will want to wear all year round. Final design will be announced in the Fall, but you wont be disappointed..our creative team is on it now. ( actual socks not displayed)
FINISHER MEDAL/ORNAMENT
All runners in 2024 will receive a Finisher Medallion that disconnects from the lanyard and turns into a TREE ORNAMENT. These become a collectors item for you and your family for years to come from the memories made at the CANDY CANE RUNS! (new design for 2024 coming)
FINISHER ALUMINIUM MUG
All runners receive a FINISHER COFFEE MUG...each year we change the look, design and style of the MUG...2022 was porcelin, 2023 was ceramic, 2024 will be aluminium with the etched logo. Keep collecting these unique Mugs year after year.
FOOD & BEVERAGES
Cakes, cookies, donuts and gingerbread will be provided for all our runners including all the hot coffee from Caribou Coffee...and hot chai, hot chocolate and plenty of whip cream for fun. Come hungry before you head back out for your holiday shopping.
CANDY CANES GALORE
It is called THE CANDY CANE RUN...so of course we will have many different kinds, shapes and flavors of cany canes. Get your candy cane at the finish to dip in your hot chocolate or enjoy at the expo.
COOKIE DECORATING (new)
New for 2024...we will have a table for a Cookie Decorating Contest... made for Kids and Teens 3-16...the competition could be fierce. Many decoration sprinkles and frostings to choose from. Get yours done before the 11:30 KIDS CANDY MILE!
FIND ELEVES on the Course- WIN
Since the start of several of our Run Events...we hide items on the course for runners to return to the finish and win prizes. Look for the 5 ELVES on the course and bring them to the finish for CASH & PRIZES. Its all about the FUN and Holiday Vibe.
THE CANDY CANE RUN COURSES
PROMENADE PARK- START LINE
The Candy Cane Run starts and finishes at the Westin Hotel PROMENADE PARK...located just across the street from the main entrance.
5k LOOP- Great Views/Flat
The 5k Course is a simple Lollipop Loop...all the same for the 5k and 10k Runners... Bike Path and hard packed trail, strollers allowed as well as dogs!
1 water stop at Mile 1.20 as runners head back to the Westin Hotel.
10k LOOP- 5k Loop + 3 miles East
The 10k Runners will run the same 5k Loop, then head East an additional 1.5 out to the Westminster Pond and back on the bike path...finishing back at the Park at the Westin Hotel. Dogs and Strollers Allowed.
